Data Governance is the organizational framework for establishing strategy, objectives, and policies for shared data. An operational program instills discipline and communication in data management activities through defined objectives, roles and responsibilities, accountability, and communication.

Oftentimes the hardest part for establishing DG is getting started. The to-do list can feel daunting. So much in fact, that inertia kicks in and efforts fail. The Data Governance Quick Start is designed to walk participants through a series of interactive modules that explore DG and DM concepts and approaches. The final module of the Quick Start will be an ‘Areas of Focus’ roadmap that offers a set of actionable steps to close identified gaps or get a program started.
